Brick Tech recently released a new game for Nokia N9 called Unravel. Like its title says: It is about solving riddles. In the game you come across a variation of blue and red lines as well as blue rings. The aim is to move around the blue rings until every red line gets blue as well. As simple as that sounds, in practice it is not. The more levels you pass, the more concentration and logical thinking is required.
How to play Unravel?
The gameplay of Unravel is simple - after you find out what you have to do. Unfortunately there are no game instructions included (upcoming update will add them). But with the help of an easy initial level you can figure out how it works: Every ring which is attached to a red connection has to be moved. Every red line is crossing another (red) line. Move the circles around until no line crosses another one - or in other words: All lines have to change from red to blue.

"Simple but difficult"
The simple gameplay doesn't make the game easy at all. It's actually very difficult but in a fun way. Concentration and logical reasoning are required to keep track of all the different rings and lines within a level. Sometimes it helps to stretch the hole formation apart for a better overview and more space to move circles around. Despite the difficulty, the challenging levels can be very addictive!

Fascinating game with open potential
Unravel has good looking graphics and an amazing soundtrack. Furthermore you have the options to activate/disable sounds, music or vibration feedbacks. It would be desirable to have some more features in future releases like:
- Possibility to start/save several games (now you can rather resume or choose new game)
- More game modes, e.g solve random levels within a given amount of time
It's known that Unravel has some minor bugs, but the developer announced that the update is ready and should appear soon in Nokia Store.
A very entertaining game with a high difficulty - but in Unravel challenge is part of the fun. Have you played Unravel? What level did you reach?
