Sailfish SDK available by end of February

SDK Sailfish OS
Yesterday at FOSDEM (Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting) Marko Mattila had a presentation about QML application development with a showcase on Jolla's Sailfish OS.
In the course of the presentation it was communicated that the SDK Alpha version for Sailfish OS will be available by end of this month.

A SDK (software development kid) provides tools for developers to create applications for a certain software framework. Since the open-source OS Sailfish and its SDK are based on the core and tools of Mer OS, Jolla suggested to follows the steps on the merproject.org page in order to build most of the SDK.

It is very probable that further information and presentations about Sailfish SDK will be given at MWC 2013 in Barcelona from February 25-28 where Marc Dillon, CEO of Jolla, will give a keynote. Part of the Jolla team will also be present in Hall 2, Stand 2MR82 / 2MR84 to answer questions and demonstrate their product.
