PR 1.2 was published just two days ago. Many people are very excited about those news and can't wait to use new functions like folder etc... But unfortunately the update is not yet available in every country (and for every phone provider). Unfortunately Nokia doesn't communicate where and when the update will be available - which isn't very smart by them.
This leads to, that some users decide to flash their device with the updated firmware to get PR 1.2 update ahead of time. Thanks to the internet it is easy to find out how to do that - but even if someone reads the best explanation how to do this, there are big risks you mess up if you don't have the experience or knowledge of doing such things. Within a few clicks you can brick your N9 and loose any warranty.
We already got mails by N9 users who need help and forums are flooded with "How can I repair that?" threads.
So the simple advice is: If you know 100% what you're doing and can handle the risks - do it, else I really consider to be patient and wait till PR 1.2 is available for your specific N9.
