How does it work?
When you open TuYa you get straight to the last used note - or an empty one if it is the first time the application is used. A click on the +-symbol opens empty note. You get to choose between 4 typical sticky note colors (pink, green, blue, yellow). The writing utensils are pencil or light pen with a big amount of different colors and 7 different sizes. In case you write/draw something wrong, there is an eraser to correct your mistake. To delete a note completely, tap on the trash can symbol.
Of course it's possible to store several notes, there's even an overview window which can be found in the note-color selection (it would be better to have a single button for the overview).

What can I use it for?
TuYa isn't something you necessarily need on your phone and it won't replace a typical notepad application at all. But it is fun to use and can be really helpful in some situations. For example when you have to describe a way to someone, TuYa helps you to draw a simple map. It doesn't really offer a great writing experience, although it's not a problem to to write single words or a phone number down. Next to that it's amusing to just paint something, although TuYa doesn't offer the variation of options a typical paint application does.
What could be improved?
The user interface isn't worked out that well and you need to many clicks to choose colors or size of pencil. It also needs some graphical revision - it's almost impossible to choose the pencils size when you selected the color black since the selection disappears in the dark background. We don't say that TuYa is complicated to use - not at all, but it could be done better. An option to choose a favorite pencil and paper color or a white colored sticky note are missing too.
Additionally it would be preferable to have some more options. For example a possibility to send notes via email, bluetooth or social networks and an alert system, which reminds you of certain notes. This would make TuYa much more useful and practical.

TuYa isn't perfect, but it does everything it promises. There were already several situations where I was happy to have such an application on my phone.
