At MWC Barcelona, Nokia presented a new USB mobile charger which doesn't look like a typical mobile charger at all. With a large rechargeable 2200 mAh lithium ion battery it should be possible to recharge a N9 1.5 times. This battery itself can be refilled with power with computer USB sockets or simply by wall/car chargers.
Smart phones have a huge multiplicity and make you sometimes very dependant on them. But they come all with a big disadvantage - battery life. This might not be a problem as long as you're around wall chargers, a car charger or a computer, but there are situations where you can't count on a possibility to recharge your phone. That's where a smart phone could need a little help of a mobile charger.

With a size of 23.3mm x 23.3mm x 120mm and a weight of only 75g, the USB charger DC-16 is small enough to fit in some pocket bags and for sure in every bag you carry with you. A LED indicator shows how much battery is left - Nokia gives it 3 month standby with up to 75% capacity. It is designed with a high output to provide your phone fast with new power.
DC-16 is available in the typical N9 colors; blue, magenta, black and white. It's not known yet when this charger will be available for purchase, nor how much it will cost. We estimate around $20-$30 - we let you know as soon as we know more.
