Summer Contest for developers: Win a Nokia N9 or N950

Openmobility, a Czech Linux community, announces in corporation with Nokia a developers contest in QT development. Participants have to create an application using Qt and QML for MeeGo Harmattan (N9) or Symbian^3 devices and can win a new Nokia N9 or two Nokia N950.
Not a developer? No problem: By reviewing applications you can also win a prize.

Although the N9 application catalogue offers a good amount of necessary apps, the available choice is still very small. If you are a developer and can port one of those missing apps you are welcome to participate at the "Summer Contest for Linux smartphones" organized by Openmobility.

"The range of subjects is wide and open. Your task is simply to develop a mobile application that uses Qt and QML. If you want to, you may also design your application specifically for the Czech or Slovak market. Feel free to make use of all the available hardware."

Non-developers also have the possibility to win a prize:

"The applications created for this competition will be available to the public from September 30. You may judge the ideas, improve the applications, or fix bugs. Once you submit your review, you can vote for your favorite application and win a prize."
