Jolla to attend MWC 2013 in Barcelona

MWC (Mobile World Congress) is the worlds largest exhibition for mobile industry held annually in Barcelona, Spain since 2006 (prior in Cannes since 1987) with an attendance of 50'000 - 60'000 people.  The next one will take place on February 25-28 this year.

It seems that this year, Jolla will be part of it in a keynote.

Marc Dillon, one of the keynote speakers at MWC
Next to its exhibition, MWC features a conference with prominent chief executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers,  and more from all over the world.

It has been 2 years since the Nokia N9 was announced at MWC 2011 - a lot has happened since then as we all know. Now it's time to hear something new from the team who reborn the idea which was behind MeeGo Harmattan and Nokia N9. Marc Dillon, CEO of Jolla, is listed as one of the executives keynote speakers at MWC.
"In the keynote programme, CEOs and executives from established and new companies in the broad mobile ecosystem will share their insights into the critical global business trends, growth strategies and technological innovations that are shaping the New Mobile Horizon."
We therefore can assume that we get some news about Sailfish OS not later than in a month.
Update: Jolla's CEO Marc Dillon will have a keynote at MWC13 on "Mobile as a Platform for Innovation" on Feb 28 at 9:30am in Hall 4, Auditorium 1.

Have a look at all keynote speakers here.
